My African Letters
Though various artistic approaches the pieces in The Palm Tree Collection aspire to capture the idea of the ultimate exotic and the dreamy symbol of the palm tree.
Through out several years I have activated this theme on a study basis without a specific conceptual aim.
Now I realize that the subject matter does not go to any deeper levels than to the actual form of the palm. It plainly is an activation of the symbol for the exotic and for the dream of paradise.
While working with this material I could visualize and own a little piece of the genuine and of the authentic primitive. Now all these small pieces of my researchare collected and cultivated. The framed work mainly consists of painting and drawing. This is my collection.
